1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the website foothillpainting.com, requesting a quote, or engaging the services of Foothill Painting Company, Inc. ("Foothill Painting," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

2. Services

Foothill Painting provides professional residential painting, commercial painting, interior painting, exterior painting, roof coatings, and related services throughout Los Angeles County and surrounding areas. All services are subject to a written estimate and signed contract before work commences.

• All work is performed by our own trained, licensed employees — we do not subcontract
• All projects begin with a free, no-obligation written estimate
• Work commences only after a signed written contract is in place
• Scope of work, materials, pricing, and timeline are defined in writing before any project begins

3. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided by Foothill Painting are free of charge and carry no obligation. Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise noted. Final pricing is confirmed in the written contract signed by both parties prior to the start of work. Any changes to scope of work after contract signing will be documented in a written change order and agreed upon by both parties before additional work is performed.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in each individual written contract. In general:

• A deposit may be required prior to project commencement
• Final payment is due upon project completion and customer walkthrough
• Accepted payment methods are specified in your contract
• Unpaid balances may be subject to a late fee as specified in the contract

5. Warranty

Foothill Painting provides a written warranty on all completed projects. Warranty terms vary by project type, materials used, and surface conditions, and are specified in your written contract. Our warranty covers defects in workmanship under normal conditions. It does not cover damage caused by:

• Acts of nature, extreme weather, or events beyond our control
• Damage caused by third parties after project completion
• Failure to maintain the painted surfaces per our post-project care instructions
• Structural movement, settling, or substrate failure unrelated to the painting work

To maintain your warranty, enrollment in our follow-up maintenance program is recommended. Contact us promptly if you notice any issues covered under your warranty.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure the best possible results, customers agree to:

• Provide reasonable access to the property during agreed working hours
• Remove or adequately protect personal belongings, furniture, and valuables prior to work
• Disclose any known hazardous materials, structural issues, or special conditions on the property
• Ensure utilities (water, electricity) are available as needed during the project
• Notify us promptly of any concerns during or immediately after the project

7. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a scheduled project by providing written notice at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start date. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee as specified in your contract. If materials have been ordered or prepared specifically for your project, you may be responsible for restocking or material costs.

8. Limitation of Liability

Foothill Painting's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. We carry full liability insurance; proof of insurance is available upon request.

9. Insurance and Licensing

Foothill Painting is a fully licensed and insured painting contractor in the State of California. We are EPA certified for lead-safe work practices. Our license number and insurance certificates are available upon request. All work is performed in compliance with applicable California state and local regulations.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of Foothill Painting Company, Inc. and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site without our express written permission.

11. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not use this site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site or interfere with any other party's use. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the website at any time without notice.
