Foothill Painting began as a small, family-run operation with a simple philosophy: do excellent work, treat customers honestly, and stand behind everything you do. Nearly a century later, that is still exactly how we run the business.
Our Story
Foothill Painting has been painting Los Angeles area homes since 1929. The company started small and family-run - a family owned painting company built on word of mouth in the foothill neighborhoods that gave us our name.
The industry has changed a lot in a hundred years. Our approach has not. We still send our own trained employees to every job, we still put every promise in writing, and we still answer the phone at a real office in Burbank.

EPA certified for lead-safe work practices, which matters in a region full of pre-1978 homes.
Dunn-Edwards and Sherwin-Williams paints exclusively, applied at manufacturer spread rates so the full manufacturer warranty applies to your project.
A written warranty on every job, plus a follow-up maintenance program that inspects and re-coats on schedule to keep that warranty valid.
Every surface inspected and tested before application, and any concerns discussed with you first, so there are never surprises.

EVERYTHING IS IN WRITING
Your contract spells out scope, materials, timeline, and price before work begins. Change orders are documented and agreed to in writing before any extra work happens.
WE ARE HERE AFTER THE JOB
Our follow-up maintenance program is the part customers do not expect. We come back on schedule to inspect and touch up, which keeps your finish looking new and your warranty in force.

Every project comes with a written warranty covering workmanship, and our follow-up maintenance program schedules inspections and touch-ups that keep the warranty valid. If you spot an issue, you call our office and we take care of it.
